Why am I unable to use some services such as virtual cards?

Updated over a year ago

Understanding Vuelo's Card Availability and Spending Limits πŸ›«

Spending Limits πŸ›οΈ:

  • Your spending limits (sometimes referred to as credit limits) are set on a product-by-product basis. This means that you might have a different limit for stays compared to flights, and vice versa.

  • It's crucial to note that your spending limits can change over time. These limits might increase if you maintain a history of timely payments. On the other hand, if Vuelo notices any struggles in your repayment pattern, the limits might decrease.

Unlocking the Virtual Card πŸ”’:

  • Vuelo values user security and the integrity of its services. Before providing users with more payment options, including the virtual card, Vuelo requires some more insights into your profile.

  • One requirement might be to book and fully settle a purchase using the 'Stays' or 'Flights' option. Only after this, further payment avenues may open up.

Unlocking the Everyday Spend Card πŸ’Ό:

  • The Everyday Spend Card is a unique feature of Vuelo. However, not everyone may have immediate access to it.

  • Similar to the virtual card, you might need to fulfill certain requirements, like settling a full purchase within the specified travel categories, before this card is made available to you.

Help & Support πŸ†˜:

  • If at any point you feel uncertain or need assistance, there's a prompt in the app that allows you to connect with our team. They're there to support you all step of the way!

Special Note: While the virtual card might not be available to everyone initially based on individual credit profiles, Vuelo still offers direct booking for flights.

Depending on your credit profile, there could be restrictions on travel dates. However, with advance planning and booking, this shouldn't pose an issue. Safe travels! 🌍✈️
