Wondering how? Let's get you set up with a Vuelo one time card!
1. Create your one-time card 💳
Open the Vuelo app and go to:
Wallet → One-time card → Create new card
This will generate a unique virtual card you can use for one travel purchase only.
2. Choose your spending amount 💸
Enter the total amount you want the card to cover.
If the amount is within your credit limit, you pay just the deposit.
If the amount is higher than your limit, you can top up — the extra difference is paid upfront during the deposit stage.
3. Use the card to book your travel 🌍
At checkout on the airline or hotel website, simply enter the:
Card number
Expiry date
CVC
Cardholder name + billing address (Vuelo auto-fills this in the app)
Your one-time card works only for real travel purchases, such as:
✔ Flights
✔ Hotels
✔ Airbnb stays
✘ Not supported: gift cards, wallet top-ups, test authorisations, or non-travel merchants.
4. Don’t delete the card until you’re done ⚠️
If you delete the card before your booking is completed, it becomes invalid and you’ll need to create a new one.
5. Your card is valid for 24 hours ⏳
One-time cards expire after 24 hours for security reasons.
If it expires, simply create a new card in the app.
Refunds & deposits 💰
If the booking fails or you delete/replace the card:
Any deposit taken upfront is automatically refunded — no need to contact us.
Refunds normally appear within 1–3 business days, depending on your bank.
Quick Tips 👇
Make sure the card amount matches the final price on the travel website.
If a booking fails, don’t retry with the same card. Create a fresh one.
You can create as many one-time cards as you need, as long as you stay within your credit limit.
